A beautiful chinese film and was tasked to create a number of props and a bit of creature work like the fish. I was tasked to model some massive paper lanterns and the ageing rooftop of the cylindrical room.
The fish was sculpted in ZBrush and then cleaned up in MODO. it was then textured in MARI and then rendered and look dev in Maya Vray.
The ageing cylindrical room I created and modelled the rooftop where the japanese crane flies over. Very detailed parts of the wood was modelled in MODO and the dried Ivy plants was modelled and simulated in SpeedTree.
